Support for growth-oriented people and professionals
I'm a clinical mental health counselor with over 25 years of corporate leadership and consulting experience. Having navigated many personal life changes, losses, and challenges while simultaneously leading teams in high-pressure start-up environments, I've honed a unique approach to human flourishing that combines psychological expertise with corporate sensibilities and everyday practicalities.
My clients range from way-finding young professionals to weary working moms to start-up founders and business execs affiliated with brands ranging from PBS, eBay, and Shark Tank. While no stranger to the tech trenches, I believe deeply in the power of HI: Human Interaction, Human Insight, and Human Inspo. It's at the heart of all that I do.
I have a warm, generative style that I've been told blends compassion, curiosity, and creativity with practicality and possibility...plus a sidecar of humor! I use evidence-based practices and pragmatic, scientifically proven techniques that resonate with those who are both eager for progress and willing to embrace the emotional work that change, healing, silver linings, and growth involve.
The most important ingredient in our work together?
Authenticity. To move forward, you first need a space where you can be raw and real - where you need not know the "right" answer...keep up with any Jones-es...or post the perfectly posed pic. A place - and a person with whom - you can just be organically YOU: a human who is doing the best they can…a work-in-progress who is open to learning and stretching in ways that can make tomorrow feel better.
THE CLOVERLY WAY
As the earliest plant to sprout after winter, the clover's annual return was traditionally hailed by ancient cultures as a sign of renewal. Spiritual figures from Celtic Druids to St. Patrick celebrated the clover as a timeless symbol of resilience.
The three heart-shaped leaves that comprise a typical clover have been said to symbolize faith, hope, and love - elements that work together to help us tap into our inner wellspring of courage, perseverance, and new possibility.
THE BACKSTORY
As a Midwestern, nature-loving child of the '80s, four-leaf clover hunting was a favorite (albeit elusive) pastime. While they were incredibly hard to come by organically, I realized if I could find a robust three-leaf clover and ever so gently tear the largest leaf in half...then, voilà! Four leaves appeared...and I felt a special sense of delight and empowerment that, á la the Serenity Prayer, I had done what I could to control and create my own "luck" (vs. just wandering, waiting for it to happen to me).
THE BELIEF IN YOU
To me, that's what you're doing by showing up here now: you're believing in yourself. Believing that amid whatever imperfect personal season or professional rut you find yourself in, no matter how unsatisfied or stuck you may feel, and how much you cannot control...you can choose to take just this one next step. To invite me to come alongside you...as a guide to help you discover personal insights and neuroscience-informed tools to help you move forward...a "muse," if you will, to help you tune into your inner wisdom, and let it lead you to where you want to go- and to grow - next.
I’ve got you.
